On behalf of the Legal Department of Russian Railways JSC (RZD), we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the TransEuropean Centre for the high professional standard of organisation and delivery of the seminar held in London from 19 to 24 March 2012, entitled “British Experience in the Effective Organisation of Legal Department Operations. Legal Expertise of Contracts. International Commercial Arbitration.”
The seminar programme enabled representatives of our Legal Department to become acquainted with recent developments in UK legislation, including the Bribery Act 2010, as well as the structure and functions of legal departments in British companies, due diligence practices, international commercial arbitration procedures and other key aspects of legal operations.
