{"id":1331,"date":"2020-03-13T08:55:03","date_gmt":"2020-03-13T08:55:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/transconf.com\/wordpress\/?p=1331"},"modified":"2020-03-13T08:55:03","modified_gmt":"2020-03-13T08:55:03","slug":"terrafame-mine-in-northern-finland-high-efficiency-profitability-and-ecology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/transconf.com\/wordpress\/?p=1331","title":{"rendered":"Terrafame Mine in Northern Finland &#8211; High Efficiency, Profitability and Ecology"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\nA group of\ngeologists, enrichment technologists and occupational safety and\nhealth specialists from Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine attended an\nintensive training seminar with technical visits to Helsinki and\nTalvivaara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nAt the\nTerrafame open-cast polymetallic mine (formerly Talvivaara), the\ndelegation studied the organization of mining operations and examined\nthe heap bioleaching zone, where the gold extraction process takes\nplace, even in severe frosts, at a temperature of 40-60C due to the\nexothermic reaction in the heap.
